It would be really cool if Robin/Pinside exposed a web service that enabled multiple platforms call in and record scores on particular machines, etc...

To me, if people have such low self esteem that they need to cheat to have highest score on a no stakes point list.. Maybe they need help. They can already do this on pinside today. Its just for fun. I do agree maybe # of balls game to distinguish or organized by tournament mode / not tournament mode or something would be interesting.

Now during tournaments, if games could self report the tournament live that would be cool (so have to be organized by game and by player (and maybe date?)

those states were there, what do you mean updated them? never mind you mean on the overall machines top score page, I though you were talking about the stats on the individual machines.

The reception is still a bit quiet. But i think when tbl comes out, and sells well, this feature will be seen as "cant be missed" in future pins.
