I have been wanting a DMD clock for years and recently picked up one from Boston Pinball Company. I reached out to Jim there, he was very nice and quick to answer all my questions. The Run-DMD board was made years ago and has since been discontinued so it is nice to see that BPC has filled in that gap recreating the board that is needed to power it all.
They offer a wide variety of "do it yourself" kits and complete plug/ play options.
They can be found on eBay here:ebay.com link: itm
...and also on their website here.

They use their own displays which are nice because you can change the color of the dots from Red, Blue, Green, White, Cyan, Yellow and Violet.
Overall I am very happy with the clock and my only suggestion is if you do buy one that is prebuilt, go with the larger size. Even though they do state the sizes of their products, in person it seemed much smaller to me than what I had imagined.
Here is a video of mine in action, the larger of the two versions:
There are lots of configurations that can be made to the clock to disable certain animations, how quickly it changes from one to the next, clock style and more!
Just wanted to share.
ps. Sorry for the background lighting in the video that is showing up on the display, that is a red rope light I have hanging in my basement and I should have turned it off before taking this video... My bad!
