    Hi Friends...

Hoping someone here can give me some advice.

I'm trying to find a bill validator to add to my GZ premium.

The coin door says use a MEI AE 2800 120v validator but I've been looking for several hours and can't find one, new or used.

Is there a place where I can purchase one new?

I checked ebay. Lots of MEI validators, but only 1 ae2800 bill validator and it's a downstacker.

Also, what is the correct bill cassette size?

Oh, and lastly... are there any validator alternatives yo the MEI AE 2800s???

Thanks in advance for any help that come my way.

    2800's accept $100 bills. Hehe. 2400's accept $1 and $5's.

There have been a lot of threads and one of them had quite inexpensive refurbished 2400's for sale. If I didn't have contacts among operators of pinballs and video games, this would be what I'm looking at:

I definitely wouldn't worry about new vs. used. Get used. You'll be fine.

Yeah - as long as it's 120v (and not 12v), an "AE" model, and has the right faceplate, you'll be fine.

I don't remember when Stern changed to 12v ( LTG ? ), but I thought it was around, or maybe just after Ghostbusters. So keep that in mind if getting some for later games.

Probably when they power supply and on/off switch moved to the backbox.

    300. Anything larger and you can't close the door.

    Mars became MEI became Conlux.

    AE2400 series works fine.

Refurbished ones pop up on Ebay. I've used those with great success.
