I hope that's an effect from either the game itself or the PinStadiums and not a permanent on color...

I think they're fine, as long as they are set to a natural/white setting.
If they're only there to illuminate the playfield further what's the harm?
If they're turning the playfield into a mess of color, then I'd say there's a problem.
