Shaq Attaq Top Flippers Blowing Fuses

I just acquired a Gottlieb Shaq Attaq and I am loving it. I am having an issue with both top flippers, however. They both seem to be blowing fuses (the top right one blows a 2A slow-blow near-instantly when in use) and the top left one took an amount of usage before it blew the 2A fuse. I took a look and nothing seems out of the ordinary. My only suspicion is that there is a short in at least the top right one (the one who blows out near-instantly). I took a multi-meter to it and I was getting ~1.4 Ohms resistance, when the service manual is looking for around 4.6 Ohms. Would this mean I need to replace the solenoid/cause the fuse to blow? The resistance for the left one that doesn't blow nearly as often was closer to 4.6, and to check I was doing this right I checked the working main flippers and each were within ~.2 Ohms from spec. The solenoids are A-26646 (Blue sleeves). I am also not 100% confident I am reading the expected resistances right, because they list two numbers (4.57/201). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I think you are testing it properly. The two numbers are a resistance for the primary and secondary windings on the coil. Gottlieb used double winding coils for the flippers, the primary was stronger and the secondary is weaker to just hold the flipper up. 1.4 seems way out of spec and that coil is probably toast. Does the coil have any discoloration on it from overheating? The other side might be ok but I would check the EOS, end of stroke, switch, it should open just before the flipper reaches the end of its stroke. If it is not opening the primary coil will stay engaged and the coil will eventually overheat or blow the fuse.

Marco has the diagram for the coil and resistance printed on their wrapper so you can see which lugs you are testing. https://www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/A-26646
